Total teeth extraction of the maxilla and mandible followed by alveoloplasty and dental implantation

On the 16th of December, at the base of the Centre of Maxillofacial surgery of the Kiev regional hospital a total teeth extraction of the maxilla and mandible followed by alveoloplasty and dental implantation was performed. The patient was admitted with complaints on chewing failure, bad breath and esthetic concerns. The clinical plan was removal of all dentures and extraction of all teeth, because they served as a source of chronic infection, with immediate installation of one-piece ROOTT Compressive dental implants. In order to shorten the patient`s functional rehabilitation and bone regeneration we used PRGF (plasma rich in growth factors) during the alveoloplasty. Further prosthetic rehabilitation is planned in the post-op period.

The use of new technologies in the combination of possibilities of a hospital allows us to perform relatively big surgeries within a short amount of time, making the post-op period as safe as possible. Moreover, such an approach allows us to shorten the patient`s rehabilitation period which allows us to pass to the orthopedic stage earlier.
